ABOUT
KEVIN BELL AND TRICIA BYRNES
Hurley Vineyard is the
family business of Kevin Bell and Tricia Byrnes.
Tricia is as
a solicitor in the law firm Richard Calley Pty. This is a small and energetic
firm with offices in Frankston and in the City.
The firm specialises in family law and Tricia is an accredited family
law specialist.
Kevin is a
sixth year part-time student in the Applied Science (Wine Science) Degree at Charles Sturt University
by distance education. He has done
extensive studies in viticulture and is about two thirds of the way through the
wine science subjects. He has received
consultancy support from Nat White
of Main Ridge Estate, and also occasionally from Phillip Jones of Bass Phillip
Wines and Jean-Marie Fourrier of Domaine Fourrier (Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy).
We have two
children aged 22 and 16, Laurence and Imogen.
The family lives on the vineyard (Laurence is usually in town). Tricia’s
parents, George and Moira Byrnes, also live here.
Hurley
Vineyard is a small family business dedicated to the craft
of producing quality Pinot Noir. Our
business ethic is respect for country, tradition and community. We do most of the work ourselves with our family,
local contractors and a devoted band of volunteers, the Friends of Hurley Vineyard.
